About me
Todd joined the Fiber Broadband Association as the Director of Workforce Development in July 2023 after working as the Market President and President of Workforce Development for an Internet Service Provider Startup and the City of Westerville, where he served the community as Chief Information Officer for 18 years. Todd's career began with GIS and led to providing strategic perspective and leadership in organizational technology, workforce development, and significant community capital improvement investments; and now helps private and public organizations of all sizes with workforce development strategy, planning, and training needs.
Throughout his career, Todd has helped organizations realize business value through strategic technology, workforce development, and broadband investments—including creating WēConnect, the nation's first municipally owned and operated community data center and fiber network. WēConnect is a community economic and social development platform that played a crucial role in helping Westerville receive recognition as a 2019 & 2020 Top7 Intelligent Community by the Intelligent Community Forum. In addition, this experience has given Todd the insight to help communities leverage fiber broadband for its economic, social, and cultural value.
Todd and his wife, Jennifer, live in Columbus, Ohio, and have been residents of Central Ohio for over 30 years. They enjoy helping schools raise funds for situational awareness technology, exploring Northeast Ohio's wineries, traveling the Bourbon Trail in Kentucky, and spending time with their adult children, Noelle and Josh, who have started their families in Central Ohio.
