About me
JONATHAN ADELSTEIN serve as Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy and External Affairs Officer for TWN Communications. He previously served as a Managing Director and Head of Global Policy for DigitalBridge, an investment manager focused on digital infrastructure, including fiber and wireless, with over $80 billion in assets under management. Prior to that, he served for ten years as the CEO of the Wireless Infrastructure Association. Jonathan has deep experience at Federal telecommunications agencies, having been nominated by President Obama to serve as the head of the Rural Utilities Service (RUS), after having been nominated by President Bush to serve as an FCC commissioner for 7 years. Prior to the FCC, he was a staff member in the US Senate, culminating in the Office of the Senate Majority Leader.
In addition to strategy, Jonathan serves TWN in regulatory, compliance, and policy roles. He also assists TWN and its partners by helping to grow its infrastructure in conjunction with an array of funding entities.
Jonathan has immense experience in successfully directing Federal funding to address rural community broadband infrastructure challenges, including his leadership in heading RUS when it delivered over $3 billion in broadband funding under the 2009 Recovery Act. He shares TWN’s longstanding commitment to improving the quality of life in rural America through broadband deployment.
